The first rendition of our touring film festival; MOPIFF, was held at the Clementine Cinema Lekki, Lagos Nigeria. In the presence of special guests, veterans and renowned actors in the likes of John Njamah; Nollyhood star, filmmaker and director of the popular Nigerian comedy series-‘FLAT MATES’, the impeccable Asurf Oluseyi and seasoned Actor Effah Belinda, who received honorary awards for their expertise and attendance.
The occasion was supported by Presh media, CAAFA, Kwod media concepts (KMC) and Garri place with Abimbola Jegede as the host. It was a cinematic and nothing short of impressive experience which also featured the screening of films for the entertainment of the viewing audience.
Selecting the winners for MOPIFF was challenging based on the copious entries received from Filmmakers worldwide. However, our eminent and creative judges; Lisa Campos, Mor Corhen, Belinda Effa, Henry Eruotor and Eden Hadad did a job well done with their thorough scrutiny of all the films submitted.

Judging from the success of MOPIFF’s debut, the Director believes that subsequent expositions which may likely not be hosted in Nigeria, will even be more effectual. “All hands are on deck to see our sequel through”. We may bring MOPIFF to a city near you.
